[JAWS DAYS 2026]Prototyping a Live Streaming Application Utilizing AI and MCP

Event Details

In this workshop, participants will create their own custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) server within their AWS account, complete with resource information and a domain context specific to Amazon IVS. Additionally, participants will build an MCP client that interacts with the MCP server, utilizing the Strands Agents SDK and Amazon Bedrock.

The workshop will provide an overview of Amazon IVS for live streaming and cover how to build both the MCP server and AI agents. The concepts learned in this workshop are broadly applicable to other AWS services. We hope this helps you understand how AI can contribute to managing your applications and enabling rapid prototyping.
